Learning objectives
On completion of this program, participants will be better able to:
- Recognise the symptoms and comorbidities associated with testosterone deficiency
- Recall the clinical diagnostic criteria of testosterone deficiency, and identify when referral is warranted
- Apply the new PBS criteria for testosterone prescribing, and address the impact of these new criteria for current and new patients
- Recognise the barriers men face when presenting to GPs with symptoms of testosterone deficiency, and counsel patients on selecting a tailored treatment option from the available choices.
